Many paper size standards conventions have existed at different times and in different countries. Today there is one widespread international ISO standard (including A4, B3, C4, etc.) and a localized standard used in North America (including letter, legal, ledger, etc.). The paper sizes affect writing paper, stationery, cards, and some printed documents. The standards also have related sizes for envelopes. ​

When purchasing notice boards, if the sizes are quoted in ‘A’ sizes then this is the visible area for the poster and the frame width will need to be added to all four sides to give the overall size.

Graphic that is 1800 x 2400 pixels in size with a dpi/ppi setting of 72 (the default in most digital cameras) will print to 6″ x 8″ at 300 ppi. Putting it another way, at 6″ x 8″ it is a 300 ppi photo (no matter what the internal dpi/ppi setting is).

Higher DPI means higher resolution. Resolution is not “size”, but it’s often confused with it because higher resolution images are often bigger, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. Print: 300dpi is standard, sometimes 150 is acceptable but never lower, you may go higher for some situations. Normally you need to checking the file size , secondary you need to check weather the image is pixel once you zoom in 100% to the file.

We use both 720 and 1440 Dpi printing. The higher DPI are, the clearer, sharper and vibrant the image gonna be. Please have a at below’s picture for sample.

In any of below’s step is not followed properly, there will be results of project’s delay, poor printing quality and time of delivery.

1. Convert all fonts to Create Outlines (in the case of vector files) or flatten (for raster files).
2. Select up to four PMS ink colors (applies to screen fabric printing only).
3. No gradients or half tones (applies to screen printing and quick print/heat transfer only).
4. Raster files should be at 300 pixels per inch for best quality (applies to full color printing only).
